How are personal data processed?
 

 

1.    Cookies

 

a.    Purpose of processing

 

Technically necessary cookies are used on this website. These are small text files that are stored in or by your Internet browser on your computer system so that the website works properly and is displayed correctly.

 

b.    Legal basis

 

The processing of personal data is carried out to safeguard our legitimate interests on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

 

The legitimate interest is the functionality of our website. The user data collected by technically necessary cookies are not used to create user profiles. This protects your interest in data protection.

 

c.     Storage period

 

The technically necessary cookies are usually deleted when the browser is closed. Permanently stored cookies have a varying lifespan from a few minutes to several years.

 

d.    Right of objection

 

If you do not wish these cookies to be stored, please deactivate the acceptance of these cookies in your Internet browser. However, this may result in a functional limitation of our website. You can also delete permanently stored cookies at any time via your browser.
 

 

2.    Establishing contact

 

a.    Purpose of processing

 

Your personal data, which you make available to us by e-mail, contact form etc., will be processed (in the course of a fast and economical communication) for answering and completion of your inquiries, as well as your order. You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, we cannot reply to you by e-mail without informing you through your e-mail address.

 

b.    Legal basis

 

If you have given us your expressive consent to process your data, Art. 6 para. a DSGVO is the legal basis for this processing.

 

If we process your data to carry out pre-contractual measures, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO is the legal basis.

 

In all other cases (especially when using a contact form) Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, the protection of legitimate interests, is the legal basis.

 

RIGHT OF OBJECTION: You have the right to object at any time to data processing based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, furthermore not being used for direct marketing for reasons arising from your particular situation.

 

In the case of direct advertising (e.g. newsletters), however, you can object to data processing at any time without stating reasons.
 

 

3.    Newsletter

 

a.    Purpose of processing

 

When you register for the newsletter, your e-mail address will be used for advertising purposes. To enable the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz to adapt the newsletter to the interests of its readers, the click behaviour is recorded anonymously. It is not possible for us to recognize which specific person has clicked.

 

b.    Legal basis

 

The legal basis for this processing is the consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. Registration takes place via "double opt-in". Within the scope of the registration we have obtained your consent and additionally refer to our data protection declaration. Of course, you can revoke your registration at any time for the future. To unsubscribe, click on the link at the end of the newsletter.

 

c.     Storage period

 

Your e-mail address will only be stored for the newsletter dispatch for the desired registration or until revoked by you.
 

 

4.    registration on the bpk-Bildagentur website (webshop)

 

a.    Purpose of processing

 

If you create a customer account on our website, your data will be used to carry out pre-contractual measures and to process orders.

 

b.    Legal basis

 

The legal basis for this processing is the implementation of (pre)contractual measures pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. A deletion of your account is possible at any time and can be achieved by a message to the above displayed address of the responsible person.

 

c.     Recipient categories

 

We transmit your address data to the company commissioned with the delivery and your transaction data to the payment service provider commissioned to process the payment.

 

d.    Storage period

 

The deletion of your data takes place automatically after expiry of the commercial and tax retention obligations applicable to us.
 

 

5.    hyperlinks to other websites

 

Hyperlinks to the websites of other third parties are included in our Internet presence. As soon as you activate these, you are in the sphere of influence of this (other) website and you are subject to data collection and data protection there.

 

 

 

What rights do users of our website have?

 

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

 

  • the right of access (art. 15 DSGVO),
  • the right to rectification and cancellation (Art. 16 and 17 DSGVO),
  • the right to limit the processing (Art. 18 DSGVO),
  • the right to object to the processing (Art. 21 DSGVO),
  • the right to data transferability (Art. 20).

 

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us (Art. 77 DSGVO). The Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI) is responsible for the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz.

 

 

 

Modification of the data protection declaration

 

The Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz reserves the right to adapt the data protection declaration in line with technical developments and changes in the legal framework. The current status of this data protection declaration can be found at the end of the declaration.
